A Long Time ago I always like to look at a civil war chess set
Chess sets can come in umpteen patterns and assortments. Years ago I used to like to view a civil war chess set that are for sale in a emporium in Center City, Philly. The chess sets were molds of art and were held under a counter behind glass. Each chess set displayed there had a unique theme. Almost every sets were rather pricey. The pieces were comprised of some extraordinary textiles, and did not resemble the chess pieces I possessed in my old inexpensive plastic chess set.
Sometimes it seemed as if you would have experienced trouble really playing chess with a themed set, since it can be hard to figure out which pieces were which after you began to propel them around the board. I was never for certain if the people who could afford to purchase those chess sets would actually have utilized them in the game. But the various chessmen and styles of chessboards were often beautiful, and I would have liked to have been able to afford to purchase one of them.
